What do I provide?
1. A place (hotel ballroom, theater, private home) where the show is to be done
2. Food and/or drinks (What you serve, if anything, is up to you)
3. Actors rehearsed in the script

4. Props and costumes, as required
5. Prizes for the murder mystery game

What do my guests do?
The job of the guests varies. In the murder mystery game, guests work as detectives and compete to be the first to solve the murder. In the other shows, guests are included in exercises, rituals, and in various other ways.

Do I need professional actors?
It's good to have people who have some training in acting, some experience doing improvisation. Equally important is that the actor be a “people person”—shy violets need not apply.

Do I need costumes?
Most of the costumes required for these shows will come from the actors' closets.

Do the scripts look like ordinary play scripts?
Not really. For one thing, the descriptions of the characters are more detailed than what you find in the usual script. Even more importantly, very few lines are given. The actor is told who s/he is and what s/he needs to communicate to the guests. If a Stage Manager is used, that person's responsibility is to decide when the various events are to happen. The whole process is free-flowing and, because of the interaction with guests, very unpredictable.

Do you have any shows that don't involve murder?
Yes. See “Meaningful Fame,” “
Monty Talks About Moving On,” and “A Night at the BougainvilleaHERE

Do you have any shows for children?
No. Because of the subject matter and demands on attention, these shows are designed for adults.
